Programming
Chair Yoga - Online and In-Person
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00am-11:00am
To register or for more information, please contact Debbie at 403-283-0554 ext 224 or debbie.o@hsca.ca
For Chair Yoga moving forward we are trying a hybrid model, meaning that many participants will still be joining online while some participants may join the class in person.
If you would like to join the class in person, you will be following Sharon on the screen in the Hearth Room. There will be a limited number of participants allowed and some safety info you need to be aware of, so connect with me directly if you would like to join.
This is a gentle exercise class that will help you to move and stay limber, especially during the winter when you may not be walking as much. Come join us.
Cribbage Group (In-person)
Every Wednesday from 12:30pm-3:00pm in the Hearth Room or North Social Hall (fall/winter months)
This lively cribbage group has been playing for many years and is newer to HSCA’s location. Everyone is welcome to attend and play.
There is a $1 admission fee to cover coffee supplies and a sign-up sheet for snacks. Each game is $.25, which goes to the winner, then the winners move to the next table. There is an extra $.10 for a skunk.
Logistics: Play 4 games, break for coffee, tea, and snacks, and then play until 3:00. Anyone who wishes to play is welcome.
Caregiver Connections- Currently on hold
There are currently no scheduled Caregiver Connections sessions. We are looking for feedback as we explore bringing Caregiver Connections back. Please reach out to HSCA’s Senior Connections Coordinator, Debbie at 403-283-0554 ext 224 or email Debbie.o@hsca.ca. Connecting with someone outside of family and friends can help when we are feeling overwhelmed or just need to talk to someone who understands the challenges of being a caregiver. Visit our Caregiver Resource page for more information and available resources.
