Bowview Outdoor Pool offers private pool rentals in the evenings: Friday 8:00pm-9:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 7:30pm-8:30pm or 8:45pm-9:45pm (7:30pm-9:30pm if booking for 2 hours), and Saturday mornings from 10:15am-11:15am.

Your rental will include lifeguard supervision, use of our BBQ, all our lifejackets, and our pool toys!

Costs

Rental Costs are $175/hr for 1-40 people and $260/hr for 41-80 people. For more information, visit our Facilities Booking page. All payments for private rentals must be done on our Facilities Booking page. If required, you may do registration in-person at HSCA during office hours. Getting to Bowview Outdoor Pool

The Bowview Outdoor Pool is located at 1910 6th Ave NW, kitty-corner from Queen Elizabeth High School. The pool is easily accessible on foot or by bike from anywhere in the neighbourhood and all swimmers are encouraged to use active transportation when traveling to the pool. To ensure your bike is safe while you swim, HSCA has upgraded its bike racks. The new racks allow you to securely lock your bike’s frame, but please remember to bring your own bike lock.

Bowview Outdoor Swimming Pool has two pools. All pools are heated, filtered and sanitized 24 hours per day. We accept cash, debit and credit!

 

Wading Pool

  • Depth is .45 meters

  • Mushroom Waterfall

Main Pool

  • Six lane 25 meter lap pool with a deep end

  • 1.0 meter depth in shallow end

  • 3.05 meter depth in deep end

  • 1.8 meter high on deck water slide

Other Features

  • Change Rooms for Women and Men

  • Coin Operated Lockers (requires a quarter) or bring your own lock (all locks must be removed after use)

  • Temperature controlled showers

  • Bathrooms

Concession

  • Concession sells prepackaged foods and drinks

Lifeguard Supervision

  • All pools are supervised by qualified lifeguards at all times
